Join to apply for the Logistics Supervisor role at Boral1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Logistics Supervisor role at BoralGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Your next opportunityReporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations for Boral.Your next opportunityReporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations for Boral.This varied role has responsibility of managing cost, profit & Loss (P&L) and budget management, manage fleet safely through repair and maintenance (R&M), effectively and efficiently, focusing on employee drivers and subcontractors to ensure the safe, in-full and on-time delivery product to Boral's customers.This role will be based in Port Melbourne and involves regular travel to sites.Your day will involve:Provide leadership and support to depot staff to assist them in safely managing their fleet to an optimum levelCost management, including reviewing cost and managing contract negotiationsP&L and budget managementRepair and Maintenance of fleetLeading people processes such as succession planning, mentoring and managing HR/IR issues with support from senior leadersAssist and support allocations teams to meet customer DIFOT and Grade of Service objectivesEnsure safe reliable delivery on internal and external customer sites and COR complianceFleet management and utilisationCompliance with capital and maintenance programs, ensuring maintenance of depot capital assetsCustomer relationship managementWhat are we looking for?
Transport, supply chain or logistics industry and fleet management backgroundProven track record of people and fleet managementSkills in cost management, business improvement and project managementUnderstanding of relevant heavy vehicles and equipment, including chain of responsibilityProven experience in working collaboratively in an industrially diverse environment with the ability to build trust and confidence.What's on offer?
