***About this Opportunity**

This is a Monday to Friday, full-time 12 month fixed-term position, with a possibility of permanency thereafter. We are seeking a team-oriented individual to take up the position of **Quality Assurance Assistant** in our Harvey Quality team. You will need to have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team. The key focus of this role is to maintain the Harvey Fresh Quality Management System, including verification of the quality management system by way of audits; managing, documenting and maintaining records of internal and external audits and corrective actions.

Reporting to the Quality Manager your duties will include:

- Assist in maintaining the Quality Management system to meet regulatory and other external standard requirements.
- Conduct internal audits / inspections related to hygiene, quality, GMP to ensure processes are adhered to.
- Report the results of audits and reviews; perform follow up audits / inspections and close out non-conformances when actions are complete.
- Coach / train Production teams in relation to Food Safety and Quality.
- Raise PIRs as required for non-conformances; GMP audits, unsatisfactory microbiological/chemical results, production/packaging issues.

**Qualification**
- Diploma in Food Science or equivalent qualification and, qualifications or experience in Quality Management Systems, HACCP and Internal Auditing.
