We are currently seeking an experienced **Assembler** to join our busy **Plastics manufacturer **located in the **South-East** suburbs of Melbourne.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Setting and operating machinery
- Ensuring efficient productivity on the line
- General production labouring as required (including packing & sorting of products)
- Quality control

**To be eligible for these positions you must meet the following criteria**:

- Previous Assembly experience highly regarded.
- A good mechanical aptitude and ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team enviroment
- The ability to use different hand tools and ancillary equipment
- A high attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Own reliable transport (essential)
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including your own pair of safety shoes, High Visibility Vest and appropriate Work Wear

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
- Machine operation: 1 year (preferred)
- Plastic injection moulding: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
