Our collection includes some of the country's most renowned culinary destinations, such as Rockpool Bar & Grill, The Cut Bar & Grill, Saké Restaurant & Bar, and the critically acclaimed Spice Temple.The Opportunity We are seeking an accomplished and strategic General Manager to lead the team at Spice Temple Melbourne.This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to oversee a premium dining venue of national repute, where service, culinary excellence, and operational performance are held to the highest standards.As General Manager, you will:Provide strong, visible leadership on the floor and behind the scenes, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience at every service Foster a culture of excellence through the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing front-of-house team Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and executive leadership team to uphold brand integrity and achieve financial, service, and operational benchmarks Manage labour, cost controls, and operational efficiency in line with venue goals and group expectations Champion innovation, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all aspects of the business Your Background To be considered, you will demonstrate:Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role within a hatted, fine dining, or internationally recognised hospitality venue A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, with a deep understanding of the expectations of high-end clientele Strong people leadership capabilities, with demonstrated success in managing, developing, and inspiring high-performance teams Advanced financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control A professional demeanour, with a calm, confident, and solutions-focused approach Full Australian working rights Unlock job insights Salary match Number of applicants Skills match Your application will include the following questions:Do you hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate?
