Roster: 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth During this exciting time at Fortescue, with innovation projects changing the way we work in mining, we are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor with substantial High Risk Training experience to join our team.
This position will provide the Training and Assessing requirements to our site teams.
Key Responsibilities Facilitation of High Risk Operations Training and Assessing Delivery of Fortescue specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments Maintain accurate and compliant training records, including digital training matrices for personnel, to ensure needs are met Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details skills Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential Administrative and scheduling duties as required Qualifications and Experience Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment WorkSafe Assessor Accreditation Proven experience and specialist skills in the specific high-risk work areas being taught Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner Licensed to train and deliver Dogging (DG) HRWL Forklift (LF) HRWL Crane (CN / CV) HRWL Elevated Work Platform (EWP) HRWL Working at Heights (NUOC) Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing (NUOC) Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite SAP / LMS experience highly regarded About UsBe part of something big.
