Program Manager Property

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager Property to join our Commercial Property Department.

As a Program Manager Property, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end development and delivery leadership, starting with identifying the right capital projects, providing strong design management, and ensuring commercial rigor with smart and active procurement, cost control, and management. You will also be focused on project delivery, leading and managing respective project teams in the delivery of allocated capital projects.

In addition, you will be supporting the Program Director in delivering the respective capital plan and engaging with stakeholder groups, both internal and external.

**Key responsibilities**:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
**Program Leadership**
- Lead and manage respective project teams in delivery of allocated capital projects.
- Ensure project teams are well engaged across key APAM business stakeholders.
- Meet agreed KPI's.
- Ensure project team compliance with APAM reporting and governance requirements.
- Drive project teams with focus across key areas of Design Management, Procurement, Cost Control and Management and Delivery Management.

**Capital Plan Development**
- Prepare Business Cases/ Investment Committee/ Board Submissions on allocated projects to an acceptable standard including being clear in identification of business benefit, commercial agreement, cost and schedule.

**Design Management**
- Lead project teams to develop project briefs.
- Across projects lead selection of consultants from consultant panel.
- Ensure project designs have a strong focus on Customer Experience in all passenger facing designs.
- Ensure design milestones are being met to support on time delivery of projects.
- Ensure APAM governance and reporting requirements are implemented and met across allocated projects.

**Procurement, Cost Control and Management**
- Lead project team to update program and project budgets through the project lifecycle.
- Deliver projects within approved funding limits and identify any additional/ further funding requirements.
- Lead proactive cost control and management across respective projects.
- Ensure cost plans are aligned to agreed APAM benchmarks and cost planning standards.

**Delivery Management**
- Lead project team to ensure safety is always front of mind across internal project team members and external consultants and contractors - Target Zero.
- Lead project team to deliver a high quality product.

**Safety & Security**
- Actively promote a safe and secure culture for staff, service providers and customers.
- Participate in safety audits and respond to findings where appropriate.
- Support implementation of Development and Delivery safety pillars.
- Degree qualified in related discipline, Construction, Engineering, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification; and/or substantial experience within this field minimum 5 - 10 years.
- End to end experience in leading built environment capital projects in a 24/7 complex operational environment.
- Experienced in leading sub-programs or projects concurrently to meet agreed timelines.
- Experiencing in leading multi-disciplinary design teams through the project lifecycle
- Experienced in delivering Commercial Property Developments including Sunken Infrastructure
- Strong financial management and commercial acumen.
- Experience in construction procurement methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills need to be able to communicate at all levels internally and externally including clear and concise communications.
- Experience in anticipating problems and proactively mitigating potential issues.
- The ability to tailor communication methods and practices to the relevant stakeholder audience.
- Proven ability to influence third parties (internally and externally) in a high-pressure environment.
