**Procurement Advisor**
Queensland Government-owned corporation, Sunwater is planning for the construction of a new dam wall immediately downstream from the existing Paradise Dam on the Burnett River.
The project is a large, multi-year project that will ensure a safe and secure water supply for the Bundaberg region for future generations.
This role is part of the Paradise Alliance, formed by Sunwater to deliver the Paradise Dam Improvement Project, with CPB Contractors / Georgiou appointed as major construction partner and GHD as the ongoing design partner.

**What you'll do (but not limited to)**:
- Manage and execute the sourcing process for all procurement activities, working closely with key internal stakeholders to effectively identify, plan, manage and deliver procurement activities in line with defined and agreed timelines and milestones
- Ensure delivery of complex procurement and sourcing initiatives in their entirety from concept development through to evaluation, award, and handover
- Working with the Delivery team, develop and finalise scope of work, tender evaluation criteria (both financial and non-financial), pricing schedule, drawings, specifications and program
- Manage contract execution, kick-off, and transition to contract administration.
- Participate and assist the senior procurement advisor in the identification of project risk analyses and the development of controls relating to procurement.
- Continue and further develop the successful relationships with the Project's Subcontractors & Suppliers
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company group policies and processes
**What you're good at**:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement and contract administration in major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of contract formation and tendering processes
- Attention to detail, diligent in ensuring tenders and contracts are clear, accurate, and comply with legal, financial, and technical requirements, including alignment with Head Contract requirements
- Strong engagement and collaboration skills to build positive working relationships with stakeholders while managing competing agendas
- A bachelor's degree in business or commerce (or a related discipline) is highly desirable, along with procurement qualifications
