Procurement Officer

**Accountabilities include**:
- Deliver assigned work and provide accurate procurement advice and information in alignment with departmental procurement policy and processes.
- Monitor and review end to end procurement activity implementation including procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, supply arrangements establishment and maintenance.
- Provide accurate and professional advice and support to Translink staff regarding end to end procurement activity.
- Liaise, negotiate and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding Translink procurement processes, procedures, training and delegations.
- Assist Translink's staff with contract management including planning, contract administration, Accounts Payable and reporting.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of initiatives to improve procurement processes and activities including assisting with establishing and maintaining systems, tracking and reporting to support the team objectives.
- Support complex procurement projects by undertaking administrative support functions as directed by the Senior Procurement Advisor including reporting on progress and outcomes.
- Actively contribute to effective team operation and participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement
- This position has a level 4 procurement delegation.
- Acts in accordance with the Queensland Public Service legislative framework and Code of Conduct. Models ethical behaviour and consistently applies those ethical standards to self and others.
- Commitment to Transport and Main Roads' Workplace Health & Safety Policy of achieving a Zero Harm workplace.
This role reports to the Senior Advisor (Procurement).
