Assistant Facilities Manager

What does the job involve?
The Assistant Facilities Manager HUB will manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility and be the point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client.
The role will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, reviewing service reports and processing payments.
The AFM will be based 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.

Partnering with the Client/Stakeholder(s)
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client's expectations are met
People Management experience
Procurement & Vendor Management
Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
Overseeing Contracts
Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right cost
Ensure expiry of contracts are well-monitored and re-procurement is initiated when required
Keeping the numbers in check
Actively work to ensure that the site's financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the JLL Code of Ethics
Ensure financial processes are followed at all times
Ensuring everyone stays safe
Keeping an eye on the Site & Operations
Limiting Risk to JLL & the Client
Want to know what we're looking for?
An understanding of basic technical aspects of property, and fixed maintainable assets.
Ability to deal with a variety of issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines. Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Clearance and or any additional associated Entity clearances will be preferrable, but not mandatory.
Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field
Has an understanding of basic technical aspects of property
Sound computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential.
Basic knowledge of HSE & Australian Standards (AS) requirements.
Basic knowledge of vendor management for specialised services.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
