Senior Structural Draftsperson

We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.The OpportunityWe are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Structural Draftspersonto join our Head Office team located in Ascot, WA, to work cross a number of significant projects.
You will design and draft structural fixed plant drawings for process plant design.Your typical day will consist of:Produce drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client specification, GRES Standards, specifications and proceduresProduce drawings and designs for constructability, manufacture and suitability/availability of materials and vendor informationBe able to transmit clear and concise information through drawings to engineersLiaising with key project personnel to ensure design coordination of multi-disciplined activitiesWhat we are looking for:Relevant qualifications in Structural Design with a minimum of 10 years experienceExperience in process plant structural design and materials handlingStrong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes and standards, relevant by-laws and standard industry practicesKnowledge of current design and detail drafting principlesExperience using TEKLAFull and unrestricted Australian working rights along with relevant Australian experienceWhat's on offer:Attractive remuneration on a comfortable weekly pay cycleEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), well-being assistance that's free for all the family;Free onsite parking and end of ride facilitiesA collaborative and supportive team environment with all the tools to succeedWith over 800 employees across Australia and growing, our focus is to create a rewarding working environment where you will be valued and appreciated for your knowledge, experience and innovative mind.Apply today and join the GRES team
