Senior Structural Engineer

As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing various structural engineering projects.

\Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Development:
    • Design and development of bridges, earth retaining structures, large span structures and civil infrastructure.
    • Manage site activities including construction phase inspections, structural assessments and draft plan edits.
  • Site Management:
    • Prepare structural engineering investigations and designs.
    • Perform site inspections and prepare site surveillance reports.
  • Collaboration:
    • Liaise with supervisors, draftspersons, site managers, steel engineers, architects and other specialists to carry out designated tasks and manage the smooth delivery of projects.

You will gain experience in the design of bridges of reinforced, pre-tensioned and post-tensioned concrete, steel, steel composite and timber construction. You will also develop working knowledge of state road authority design criteria for bridges, technical report writing skills for clients and experience in using structural design codes and guidelines.
