**About the Role**:
Are you ready to lead engineering delivery on high-impact defence projects? We're seeking a **Project Execution Lead** to join our team on site in Sydney Olympic Park to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities for next-generation land-based simulation training solutions.

In this role you will report to the Director, Programs and partner closely with the Project Manager and System Architect to ensure technical excellence, timely delivery, and alignment across disciplines. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage work package budgets, and serve as the key technical interface across engineering, procurement, and production. This role is pivotal in ensuring our land-based simulation training solution projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**What You'll Do**:

- Coordinate day-to-day engineering execution to meet project milestones.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams and allocate tasks effectively.
- Manage technical interfaces, subcontractors, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, governance, and risk controls.
- Track progress, identify opportunities, and report on project status.

**What You'll Bring**:

- Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
- Project Management qualifications desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, with 2+ years in technical project delivery.
- Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in regulated environments (e.g. defence, aerospace, rail).
- Familiarity with engineering lifecycle processes (e.g. ISO15288) and tools like MS Project or JIRA.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

**Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.**
