About the Role
As a Graduate Waste Management Officer, you will:
Prepare waste management reports to support planning approvals and design processes
Develop tailored waste strategies for a diverse range of developments – including residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects
Collaborate closely with traffic engineers, urban planners, architects, and developers to ensure seamless integration between access design, waste servicing, and building layouts
Stay current with relevant waste legislation, local council requirements, and best practice guidelines
Contribute to projects that
influence smarter, more sustainable design outcomes in new land use and building developments
Promote sustainable waste management solutions in line with best practice and Green Star objectives
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
A recent graduate or diploma-holder in
Environmental Engineering
,
Environmental Science
,
Sustainability
, or a related discipline.
A clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Ideally candidate to have experience or familiarity with planning systems, urban development, or building services design.
