A well-known and highly respected organisation, this nonprofit provides indispensable services and support to people across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia to get their lives back on track.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced emotionally mature HR professional with a passion for helping people. This is a 2-month temporary role.

You will be best equipped to meet this exhilarating challenge if you have had previous experience in managing periods of change such as going through a sudden business growth.

This role is to assist a well-regarded HR Manager and utilize your exceptional interpersonal skills to provide practical hands-on support to both management and staff, update and utilise the HRIS system as well as assist with sourcing and onboarding of staff.

With your sensitive nature you will be also happy and prepared to support line managers with performance management issues and guide them through the process.

To be successful for this rare temporary assignment, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a HR generalist role
- Ability to manage any staff issues or complaints
- Technical knowledge and experience across a wide range of Human Resources functions, including performance management, redundancy, terminations, workers compensation, disciplinary processes, long service leave and managing ill and injured employees.
- Recruitment, onboarding and induction
- Qualification in Human Resources
