**Your new opportunity**:
The marine industry forms a key component of business for Penske in the Perth region and more broadly in Western Australia. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies and business plans to increase the penetration of Penske products and maintenance offers in the marine market within WA.

In this role you will:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship builders, end users, operators and suppliers to Penske
- Maintain a regular and proactive customer visit schedule to key accounts to enable development of the business relationship
- Develop and implement plans and strategies that will provide increased market penetration
- Produce and deliver maintenance offers for ship builders and end users/operators
- Provide market intelligence to the business on competitive products and activities.

**About you**:

- Relevant Diploma or Degree preferred (or relevant industry experience/qualifications)
- Demonstrated ability in the development of sales strategy and business plans
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent product knowledge (MTU, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission)
- High level of customer focus and demonstrated experience in building effective customer relationships
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with all levels within an organisation
