Wilson Security has an established Blue Chip national client portfolio which is in a period of significant growth.ABOUT THE ROLE:Location: Roles located in Launceston- TasmaniaRoles available: Security OfficerFull Time and Casual Opportunities availablePlenty of sites availableFull availability preferredRoles require a working with vulnerability license10-12 hour shifts availableLevel 1-2Wilson Security is expanding in TASMANIA, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of TASMANIA.
This growth has created new roles within our TAS team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers.
They offer training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)Excellent customer service skillsGeneral security duties- patrols, external and internal locks ups and MORE
Be a lateral thinker in solving issues that may ariseHave an understanding of communication lines and chain of commandHave an understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols including fire systemsProtect and maintain security & integrity of building and infrastructureSubmit electronic or paper incident and hazard reportsBe well presented and well-spokenHave good IT skillsWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Current Tasmanian Security Licence and First Aid CertificateFlexibility to work 24/7 rotating rostersWWVP CheckExperience in a healthcare environment (highly desirable)Good level of physical fitnessAbility to work in high-pressure environmentsGood conflict resolution skillsWell-presented and spokenGreat communication skillsFull working rightsWilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
