Job Title:

Job Description:
  We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security services across various sites, ensuring the safety and security of clients, staff, and visitors.

  As a Security Officer, you will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, rotating rosters as needed. You must have excellent customer service skills, be well-presented and well-spoken, and possess good IT skills. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols, including fire systems, and be able to protect and maintain security and integrity of buildings and infrastructure.

Requirements:
  
  • A current Tasmanian Security Licence and First Aid Certificate.
  • Flexibility to work 24/7 rotating rosters.
  • WWVP Check.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment (highly desirable).
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
