Ground Service Equipment Technician

As a vital member of our airport operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground service equipment.

The GSE Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on the airport GSE fleet, carrying out repairs and diagnosing issues to maintain optimal equipment performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Inspections: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the airport GSE fleet to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repairs and Diagnostics: Carry out repairs and diagnose issues to maintain equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow safety protocols closely during all maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to team members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Equipment Testing and Inspections: Participate in equipment testing and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with technicians, supervisors, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Technology and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest GSE technology and maintenance trends to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including equipment logs and repair reports.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure timely availability for repairs.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and Airport Managers to prioritize maintenance schedules.
  • Quality Inspections: Conduct Quality Inspections on assets returning from maintenance providers.
