Cement Plant Operator

Our Cement team is looking for a number of full-time Cement Plant Operators to meet the interesting challenges of production operations at our busy 7 days a week cement plant at Pinkenba.

**Duties**
- Operation of the cement plant (grinding mills & packaging lines) and mobile equipment (front end loaders, forklifts & excavators)
- Collect and analyse cement production samples
- Diagnose plant problems, instigate repairs and participate with maintenance staff as required
- Grease and clean mobile machinery
- Perform inspections on both fixed and mobile plant equipment
- Comply with Wagners Obligations under Chain of Responsibility

**Skills and Experience**
- Front End Loader experience (preferable)
- Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills
- familiarity with computers
- Experience working in a continuous manufacturing workplace (preferable)
- Experience working on a rotating continuous shift roster (preferable)
- Willingness to learn and a flexible 'can-do' attitude
- Forklift licence (an advantage)
