**Job Summary**:
As a Barista/Customer Service Assistant at The Navy's Anchorage, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering outstanding customer service and expertly crafted beverages. Your role will involve creating a positive experience for our guests and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Greet and engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service. Handle inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- **Beverage Preparation**: Prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
- **Sales and Promotions**: Promote menu items and upsell when appropriate. Accurately process customer transactions and handle cash register duties.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Keep your area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards. Regularly clean equipment and workstations.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. Communicate with management regarding inventory needs.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment and ensure smooth operations throughout service.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or barista role is required.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays.
- Must have a driver licence and be able to drive on your own.
- Must be hold an Australian Citizenship

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $24.32 - $32.06 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates
