A leading corporate and commercial law firm in Sydney is seeking a lawyer with 2–6 years post-admission experience to join their Environment and Planning team.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of planning and environmental law matters, including:
Class 1 merit appeals
Class 3 compulsory acquisition matters
Class 4 judicial review proceedings
Planning agreements
Due diligence for land acquisition and development projects
Key Responsibilities
Appear in court for various proceedings
Conduct legal research and draft advice
Prepare and file court documents
Liaise with counsel and experts
Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal services
About You
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Commercially minded with a proactive approach
