Worongary State School was established in 1993 to service the communities of Worongary, Carrara and Boonooroo. The area was used back in the second world war as an aerodrome to transport supplies to the Canungra base. The name Worongary is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning 'the vine that climbs' and this vine is featured on our school emblem which bears the motto 'Strength through wisdom'.

Play a support role in delivering the vision of the department to improve the educational outcomes of students in State Schools by facilitating and supporting the training, planning and effective implementation of PBL at the school level.Experience/knowledge of behaviour management practises and PBL will be highly regarded.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
