About the role:As Planning Officer, you'll support port logistics by ensuring planning systems, purchasing, and compliance processes are delivered accurately and in line with operational needs.Maintain up-to-date data and records in logistics systems to support operational planningDeliver high-quality customer service by resolving issues and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with operational standards, including NHVR, customs, and biosecurity requirementsSupport purchasing and planning tasks to align with customer agreements and business targetsMonitor service levels and provide updates to meet internal and external reporting requirementsAbout You:You're organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with logistics systems and stakeholders alike.
You'll also bring:Relevant tertiary or experience in a logistics, supply chain, or port operations roleKnowledge of NHVR, customs, or biosecurity regulationsExperience using TMS or other freight and cargo management systemsStrong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationshipsExcellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)Flexibility to work at short notice, including irregular hours and weekends when requiredWhat We Offer:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
