Pace Vic have partnered with one of Australia's largest and fastest-growing private ecommerce companies who are currently on the lookout for a National Freight Manager to join their team based in Melbourne's inner east. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join an organisation with a unique business model, with an equally as unique growth potential.

This role is suitable for a highly skilled, experienced logistics professional who leads by example and has a strong focus on strategy and implementing cost-saving measures.

**About the role**:

- A key focus on driving logistics improvements & effectiveness
- Strengthen operational planning with carriers and internal S&OP processes
- Co-ordinate effective and efficient routing of all trucks and staff to ensure maximum delivery and service
- Managing a range of service providers, managing performance and the budget for transport
- Hybrid working arrangement with flexible hours

**About you**:

- The ability to drive logistics improvements & effectiveness to achieve greater efficiency & profitability
- Strong financial acumen
- Ecommerce experience highly advantageous, B2C, last-mile delivery
- Strong relationship-building skills and stakeholder management
- Previous management experience advantageous
- Highly skilled and experienced in effectively implementing strategic change
- Possessing the eagerness to step into a role and make it your own whilst positively influencing a thriving culture
- Passionate about the eCommerce sector with a sound understanding of online marketplaces.
