Are you passionate about event management and creating engaging experiences for customers worldwide? RICS, a global leader in shaping built and natural environments, is seeking a dynamic Event Specialist to join our team.

**Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities**
- In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a portfolio of knowledge and competence events, both digital and face-to-face, across various markets. Reporting to the Event Manager, you'll ensure high-quality, efficient, and consistent product delivery while building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all products are delivered in line with the latest industry trends and are engaging for customers.
- Collaborate with the product delivery team to realize efficiencies, evaluate products, and drive continuous feedback and improvement.
- Build effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage delegate bookings, send joining instructions, and respond to enquiries.
- Secure suitable venues, negotiate competitive rates, and manage venue requirements.
- Set up and manage platforms for event registration and hosting.
- Coordinate technical equipment and support for events.
- Manage speaker logistics including briefings, travel, accommodation, and presentations.
- Coordinate onsite event management, including registration, delegate welcoming, and venue management.
- Maintain relationships with sponsors/partners and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Conduct post-event reporting including budget reconciliation and feedback reporting.

Expected Outcomes:

- Events delivered in line with delivery framework and service level agreements.
- Overall global operational performance of RICS K&C products meeting objectives, plan, and budgets.
- Collaborative delivery of impactful knowledge and competence products with stakeholders.

**About You**
- Strong experience in event management and working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in digital event management.
- Technical proficiency with Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and video editing preferred.
- Culturally aware with the ability to operate effectively in a global role and work with diverse teams.
- Highly organized with a methodical approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Negotiation skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
