**The Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the café, florist and functions across Bunurong Memorial Park (BMP). In this role, you will lead a dedicated team along with an inclusive and collaborative relationship with the Head Chef, and be responsible for ensuring that all Café and Function teams operate efficiently, maintaining a high standard of service, while aligning with SMCT's organisational values.

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will:

- Work closely with the Food, Beverage and Retail Manager
- Ensure Café, Florist and function rooms operate efficiently and effectively
- Liase with the Bookings team as well as Funeral Directors regarding function requirements
- Build strong relationships with both FOH and BOH staff
- Ensure compliance with RSA and Food Handling legislation and policies
- Lead, motivate and develop team members
- Roster Café, florist and function teams
- Ensure all ordering and purchasing decisions are made in line with needs and expectations

**Your Profile**:
You are an experienced and detail-orientated hospitality professional with strong communication and leadership skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment, have a solid understanding of food safety and are skilled at managing teams and operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong comprehension of food safety procedures and RSA legislation
- Experience leading a team within the Hospitality or Retail Industry
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically in the Microsoft Office package
- Demonstrated time management, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends

Previous experience managing a Café or in a Retail environment would be highly desirable
