**Key Responsibilities**
- Reconcile AR batches to bank statement.
- Process customer Credit card payments daily.
- Process daily takings from drivers and allocate the payments to the customer accounts
- Follow up all overdue accounts to ensure actioned
- Note the action taken on accounts to reflect accurate status in the Collection system.
- Accurately allocate & process cheques, cash and EFT's received
- Respond to account queries to stakeholders
- Investigate and respond to customer disputes
- Liaise with branch personnel and Group office staff as needed
- Refer accounts requiring collection or legal action to Litigation officer.
- Monitor customer payment arrangements ensuring compliance.
- Mange the site petty cash and reconcile to Promaster
**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail.
- Results oriented.
- Credit and accounting knowledge and experience
- Proven negotiating abilities
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to take on varied or new tasks within the office
- Capable of working under pressure in a team environment
- Show initiative and a positive attitude
