Category Expertise Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Category Expertise Manager to join our organisation.
This position involves analysing data to optimise space and range, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive commercial growth. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in relevant roles (e.g. merchandising specialist, category analyst, category executive, sales analyst).
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Optimisation:
Solve complex problems using root cause analysis and data analysis tools such as SQL and Freshest Flow.
Category Governance:
Act as a key user of our Freshest Flow tool to govern optimisation logic, ensuring store-specific space leads the merchandising vision and strategy for categories.
Collaboration and Partnership:
Co-create with strategic partners across commercial and Merchandising & Customer Value to deliver against key strategic priorities.
Space Optimisation:
Partner with Merchandising Optimisation teams to leverage technology in space optimisation, specifically through Planogram Generator.
Analysis and Reporting:
Provide key analysis for strategic projects and categories to improve customer shopping experience and store operational productivity.
Requirements:
