**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a **Paralegal** who will be responsible for providing quality and timely administrative and paralegal assistance and support to the Legal and Insurance Team, with a focus on maintaining excellent corporate records and governance, supporting the business to manage risk and helping the business to achieve its strategic goals in a timely manner.

This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying law or recently completing their studies and looking to gain practical experience in the legal field. It's an ideal position for individuals eager to develop their skills in a professional environment while supporting our team with day-to-day legal operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the DOA approvals and contract execution process for all contracts.
- Support with creating Coupa Marketplace requisitions and manaing other supplier and invoice processing activities and manage expenses for Deputy General Counsel or Chief Legal, Quality and Risk Officer.
- Manage registers for trademarks, business names, bank guarantees, Rights of Entry and other registers owned by the Legal and Insurance team.
- Manage with Right of Entry, Mortgage over Lease and Bank Guarantee processes for leasesd properties.
- Support coordination of responses to subpoenas with the Regulatory Support team and other relevant teams as might be required.
- Liaise with Legal suppliers as necessary and support problem solving as required.
- Support the lawyers in the team with drafting, preparing documents, maintaining precedents, research, etc
- Undetake other administrative or paralegal tasks, including LQR event management, as may be required.

**About You**
- 1-2 years' experience in a busy in-house legal team or similar environment
- Ability to priortise multiple stakeholders and successfully complete multiple tasks at the same time.
- Ability to work independently, while being a team player, be proactive with an excellent work ethic and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the business.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Exceptional written and oral skills and excellent attention to detail.
- _Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement. _
