This position is responsible for undertaking and overseeing a wide variety of bonded Transport Activities. Ensuring that all processes are adhered to by the transport and teams as well as weekly reporting of all Transport operations.

**Job tasks & responsibilities include**:

- Must be experienced with arranging bookings with transport carriers for both FCL & LCL
- Control air fright pickups and delivery
- Manage container bookings for consolidations
- Cargo outturning, forwarding storage management, FCL / LCL and Airfreight handling including loading/unloading consolidated containers and ULD's
- Manage costs associated with transport operations
- Ensure team members have the necessary tools/resources to achieve assigned tasks in a quality/efficient manner.
- Provide technical advice and resolution to work issues in the unit

**Skills & experience**:

- At least two years' experience in Transport Management within the freight forwarding industry
- An understanding of OH&S policies and legislative requirements and people management
- Have knowledge with consolidations of FCL / LCL & Airfreight shipments
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
