**Role Summary**:
The Logistics Manager is a newly created opportunity in our Future Energy Procurement team based at our Perth CBD Office within the wider supply chain team.

The purpose of the role is to manage, lead, co-ordinate and oversee all logistic functions relating to delivery of renewable projects and with a requirement to travel to the operational sites.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Manage all logístical aspects pertaining to the project's scope and ultimate deliverables.
- Oversee the project schedule concerning inbound logistics, spanning from order receipt to store delivery.
- Drive high supplier performance to meet Synergy's freight forwarding contractual requirement
- Single point of accountability for coordination of commercial shipping and freight forwarding documentation ensuring compliance to project requirements
- Leading adherence and compliance to WA and Commonwealth government acts and policies specific to chain of responsibility

**What you'll bring**:

- Qualification in supply chain management (logistics) (Diploma/degree), or similar
- Significant experience in project logistics management roles, specific to international inbound shipments, to staging areas through to construction sites.
- Chain of Responsibility legislation - Transportation would be highly regarded
- International trade and shipping experience is desirable
- Strategically oriented to drive impactful outcomes with a strong commercial focus.
