**About the role**
Due to internal growth, our client is seeking an experienced accounts payable and receivable professional to join the business, immediately or on short notice (2 weeks notice). This is a reputable national business based in Western Sydney. The company do foster career growth over the long-term. Working with this supportive and friendly team-oriented environment, the role will suit an accounting professional who has accounts payable and receivable experience and is looking to work for a large company over the long-term.

**The Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Processing of high-volume invoices
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and responding to supplier enquries.
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills.
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Allocations and issuing receipts
- Collection activities
- Review project reports and process claims

**The successful applicant**
- Previous experience within an accounts payable and receivable / accounts officer role
- Strong attention to detail.
- Be a team player, but also work independently
- Hold a friendly and positive attitude
- Experience with claims is highly advantageous, however not essentual.
