**About the Company**

Our client is a nationwide construction firm with over 20 years' experience as a key player in the building industry. Their major business sectors include infrastructure, surfaces and contracting. With over 100 employees, our client is looking to grow their operation via measured and accurate financial action.

**About the role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic accounts officer to assist with an internal restructure leading into the new year. You will be assisting the existing accounting and admin teams with the day to day bookkeeping and administration duties. Reporting into the group finance manager, you will contribute to the overall improvement of systems and processes.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the finance team
- Assist with Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- General office and administration tasks
- Raise Purchase Orders
- Manage supplier relationships
- Assistance with financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, budgets etc
- Assisting with month and year end processes.
- Support senior finance leaders on an ad hoc basis.

**About you**
- 2 + years' experience within accounts, bookkeeping, or admin related positions.
- Construction industry experience preferred but not necessary.
- Good systems and computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of AP, AR and general bookkeeping.
- Positive and passionate individual with 'can do' attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to formulate strong working relationships.
- Highly accurate with great attention to detail.
