Patient Transport Care Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide safe and reliable transportation services to non-emergency community patients attending appointments in Perth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Transport eligible community patients safely and efficiently.
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair-capable transport.
- Follow clinical care directions from senior team members.
- Communicate effectively with our dispatch team to ensure timely responses.
- Conduct vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness, stock, and equipment.
- Submit accurate patient care records and other documentation.
- Report hazards or incidents and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and contribute to a positive team culture.
You are a compassionate and caring individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients.
Qualifications & Skills:- A current First Aid certificate and Advanced Resuscitation certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
- An unrestricted C-class driver's license and a safe driving record.
- A current WA Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A national police clearance, obtained prior to commencement and renewed every three years.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering patient-centric care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Vaccination as per government guidelines for healthcare workers.
- Physically fit to perform patient transport duties.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
- Previous experience in disability, aged care, or patient transport services is highly regarded but not essential.
