Patient Transport Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient transportation and optimal clinical outcomes.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our crew as a Dispatcher/Call Taker. This role is instrumental in coordinating patient transfers for Mental Health and Non-Emergency Patients between hospitals and within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage crews to ensure efficient patient movement, transport, and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Handle customer calls and manage the booking process.
- Plan and dispatch bookings to maximize resource efficiency.
- Ensure accurate entry of booking and patient transport data into our system.
- Collaborate with the Rosters team to ensure optimal crew allocations.
- Generate reports on customer complaints, queries, excessive delays, and other significant incidents.
- Complete daily workload summaries and timesheets.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Patient Transport Services advantageous.
- Previous experience in a call centre or customer services environment ideal.
- Skilled at fostering high-performance teams.
- Professional in representing us to customers and industry stakeholders.
- Capable of directing resources and staff positively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Perform well under pressure, balancing business needs with individual needs.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, positive, and resilient.
