**Our Opportunity**

To support our ongoing growth Nepean Engineering & Innovation are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join the team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Narellan, NSW.

Your daily duties will include however not be limited to:

- Purchase order management including RFQ, order placement, order confirmation and order maintenance.
- Communicate with project management team and/or internal customers around purchasing requirements including suppliers, pricing, order status delivery schedules.
- Ensure all open purchase orders are continually maintained to be accurate and up to date.
- Assist the store function and act as a back-up where required.

**The Right Person**

To be considered for this unique opportunity, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience within manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to PRONTO or SAP would be beneficial but not required.
