We are on the lookout for a motivated and compassionate Male Support Worker to make a significant impact in the life of a young individual. Located in Sunshine, Victoria, this role is not only about providing support but also about empowering and enabling independence through travel training and personal care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance with a focus on dignity and respect.
- Facilitate safe and reliable transportation using the worker's own vehicle for daily school drop-offs and other activities.
- Offer travel training to enhance the client's confidence and independence in using public transportation, including buses and trains.
- Build a supportive and positive relationship with the client, focusing on their strengths and interests.
- Work collaboratively with the client's family and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a valid Working With Children Check.
- A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transporting the client.
- Demonstrated experience in travel training and familiarity with the public transportation system.
- Proven experience working with clients in the age range of 18 to 25 years old.
- Availability for morning shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with young adults effectively.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to support work.
