**Position Overview**: As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support to our clients. You will be a positive role model, providing assistance with daily activities, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to our clients' overall well-being. This role is specifically designed for a young male support worker who can connect with clients and understand the challenges they may face in a compassionate and respectful manner. We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and approachable individual to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
** Provide Personal Care**: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.

** Support with Social and Recreational Activities**: Engage clients in social, educational, and recreational activities that promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.

** Encourage Life Skills Development**:Support clients in developing essential life skills, including budgeting, meal planning, and community engagement.
- **Emotional and Behavioural Support**: Provide emotional support to clients, helping them manage difficult behaviours and emotional responses with patience, understanding, and positivity.

** Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, including supporting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.** Document and Report: Keep accurate and up-to-date case notes, following all organisational policies regarding documentation and confidentiality.

** Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other staff, families, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care and that client needs are met. Key Requirements**: Age: We are seeking a young male support worker to meet the specific needs of our male clients. Ideally, you will be between the ages of [age range, e.g., 18-30].

** Experience: Previous experience in care or support work is preferred. We value passion, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to support others.** Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate clients.

** Empathy and Patience: Ability to build trust and rapport with clients, especially those who may be facing personal or emotional challenges.** Physical Fitness: This role may require physical support for some clients, so physical stamina and fitness are important.

** Clean Criminal Record**:You will be required to undergo background checks to ensure client safety.

** Driver's License**: A valid driver's license is required

** Working with Children Check**:A valid employee working with children check is required
- **Relevant qualifications**:Min Certificate 3 in related field, e.g. Disability support, community services etc.
