**About Early Childhood Outcomes Division**:
The Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) Division is leading a once-in-a-generation reform program in early childhood education and care. Reform outcomes include increased accessibility to childcare places, reduced costs to parents, and universal pre-school education for children.

**About the role**

This exciting new role sits within the ECO Reform Program Management Office (PMO) which supports the five ECO Division workstreams and their multiple projects. By working collaboratively with the specialist teams within ECO Division and across the Department, the PMO aims to ensure the ECO projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and by employing good governance practices, to achieve the Division's intended outcomes.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Assist the delivery of a range of policy related projects and initiatives
- Undertake basic research and analysis
- Support the PMO to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
- Undertake a range of administrative activities, including organising working groups and committees, and preparing reports and presentations, to support stakeholder engagement.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- This position is targeted to the employment of an Aboriginal person and is authorised by the Department's EEO Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**About you**
- Experience in project or program management (ideal but not essential)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed reports, briefings and presentations\
- Respond proactively to changing circumstances and adjust plans and schedules when necessary
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse data sets and identify and escalate possible variances from project plans
- A collaborative approach to their work with a solutions outcome focus
