Australian in our approach and unbound by dining traditions, creating venues and experiences to be shared with others.The OpportunityYou will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, assist with menu development and management of cost for your area.
You will lead, motivate and supervise the team while ensuring quality and consistency.
You must be energetic and enthusiastic with a real passion for your craft.The Ideal Candidate Must HaveExperience as a Pastry Head Chef, Senior Sous chef or Sous Chef in an a-la-carte restaurantDisplay creativity and a passion for all things pastryExemplary leadership skills with focus on staff developmentAbility to build and maintain effective relationshipsA proactive, problem-solving attitude with commitment to continuous learningStrong organisational skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure and fast-paced service periodsQualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAvailability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shiftsWorking with Lucas RestaurantsPeople are at the core of our success.
