We're seeking an experienced and innovative Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team at a'Mare, Crown Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside Alessandro Pavoni, crafting world-class desserts in a premium dining environment.

What you'll do
  • Lead the pastry section and mentor junior staff
  • Create and design new, exciting desserts for our menus
  • Prepare a wide variety of cakes, breads, and pastries using traditional and modern recipes
  • Ensure exceptional presentation and quality standards
  • Manage stock, monitor ingredient levels, and liaise with suppliers
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness across the section
What we're looking for
  • Australian working rights
  • Minimum 2 years' commercial kitchen experience
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Baking, or related qualification
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef at a senior level
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and baking techniques
