Senior Performance Marketing Manager (SEM Lead)Hopscotch Digital is a creative, data-loving marketing agency in beautiful Surfers Paradise.

If you enjoy a relaxed, fun environment with a great office in the heart of the Coast, you'll feel right at home.About the RoleWe're seeking a senior digital all-rounder to lead SEM and broader performance strategy across a varied client mix.
You'll own strategy, planning and hands-on execution, partner closely with design and analytics, and lift our standards, and results.ResponsibilitiesPlan and run best-in-class Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax), Meta Ads and Bing, with clear testing roadmaps.Turn business goals into channel strategy, budgets, forecasts and measurable targets.Build clean account structures, smart bidding frameworks and useful automations (scripts/rules/alerts).
Collaborate with our design team to ship compelling creative and high-converting landing pages.Stand up GA4/GTM tracking and reporting that clients actually read.Lead quarterly planning and present insights, tests and next moves to clients.Contribute to CRO ideas (copy, forms, funnels) and paid social planning.Relaxed, creative office in Surfers, walk to food, transport, gyms and the beach.Hybrid work, professional development, and a weekly team lunch.Real ownership, senior client exposure and room to grow with a scaling agency.Skills & ExperienceRequired5–7+ years in SEM/performance with deep hands-on Google Ads expertise (Search, Shopping, PMax).
Paid social (Meta/TikTok) exposure.Confident with GA4 and GTM.Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.Proven ability to take ownership end-to-end and mentor others.Nice to haveFeed management tools, SA360.WordPress familiarity; basic HTML/CSS; Sheets/Apps Script or SQL; Adobe Suite.Self-motivated, results-focused, detail-oriented.
