The role:
Council benefits :
This is a permanent full-time position based at the O'Mara Road Wellcamp facility.
This position requires working any five days out of seven, with penalty rates applying.
On-the-job Training :
Learn new skills and operate different plant machinery.
Hands-on training and support.
The base rate for this position is $1,257.27 gross per week plus penalty rates,
plus 17.5% annual leave loading,
and up to 12.65% superannuation.
In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available (for example - on call, overtime, asbestos allowance, wet weather).

Mandatory Qualifications, training or experience for this position:
Current 'C' Class Manual Licence with the eligibility to obtain 'MR' Medium Rigid Licence within 6 months of commencement.
Construction Industry White Card.
Possession of at least one (1) of the following nationally recognised Major Plant competencies highly desirable with the eligibility to obtain within 6 months of commencement:
Major Plant :
Excavator, Forklift, Wheel Loader.
Highly desirable qualifications, experience and training :
Minor Equipment / Machinery :
Ride on Sweeper, Ride on Mower, Brush Cutter, Blower.
Removal of Non-Friable Asbestos Certificate.
First Aid Certificate.
Certificate III in Waste Management.
Ability to be 'fit-tested'.
