Job Overview

This role involves operating waste collection vehicles safely as part of a team, providing efficient waste disposal services, handling spillages and minor malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will have a valid HR Licence, be able to operate waste collection vehicles over 11t but less than 23t GVM, possess knowledge of plant maintenance, prestart, and shutdown procedures, basic waste industry knowledge, understanding of environmental regulations related to waste transport, knowledge of traffic laws relevant to the role, ability to meet bin lift rates for residential and rural areas, willingness to work on public holidays with penalty rates, flexibility for overtime when available, with penalty rates.
