**Role description**
As part of the Learning and Development team, the Clinical Midwifery Educator is responsible for the coordination and delivery of maternity education for all staff and students involved in maternity care. Education will include training staff in key programs such as Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT), neonatal resuscitation, fetal surveillance education program (FSEP) and inpatient antenatal and postnatal care.
**About you**
- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Education (TAE) or working towards attainment
- Experience in midwifery education
- Ability to deliver and evaluate an education program
- Strong understanding of Safer Care Victoria requirements for midwifery
- Familiar with VMIA's incentivising better patient safely requirements and how these can be achieved
- Proven track record of a collaborative / consultative approach
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy including ability to review data and utilise online platforms
