Teaching and Learning Facilitator

This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and delivery of simulation teaching and learning activities within undergraduate/postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery programs.

About the Position

As a Teaching and Learning Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering contemporary, authentic clinical teaching and learning experiences within simulated environments. You will also liaise with Academic Coordinators and Course Coordinators to develop, plan and deliver programmatic and course-related teaching and assessment activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Learning Activities:
    • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical teaching and learning activities and experiences within simulated environments.
    • Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of teaching content.
  • Program Development:
    • Contribute to the development of programmatic and course-related teaching and assessment activities.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address educational gaps and needs.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree qualification in a relevant health discipline (awarded or in progress) and current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife.
  • Relevant and recent clinical experience in nursing and/or midwifery.
  • High level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
