Midwifery Care Specialist

Job Description:

The role of a Midwifery Care Specialist involves providing high-quality midwifery care to women and their families in partnership with other health professionals.

The specialist will be studying towards registration as a midwife while working in a dynamic team environment, strengthening health outcomes through collaboration and shared knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinically appropriate midwifery care to women and their families
  • Working in partnership with other health professionals to enhance patient experiences and outcomes
  • Undertaking study leading to registration as a midwife
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Confirmation of enrolment in a midwifery course accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration

  • Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 pro rata per annum

Working Hours:

Multiple fixed-term part-time positions are available, working up to 64 hours per fortnight.
