Speaking of Y people, you might be our new (full-time) Accounts Payable Officer ready to to join our extra friendly Finance Team located at our head office in Welshpool, Perth, WA

**What you'll be doing**:
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts for all business units in accordance with relevant legislation and YMCA policies and procedures. Your main duties will include:

- Enter receipts, payments, purchase orders and purchase invoices into finance system by cost centre for two companies.
- Ensure General Ledger account and centre codes are entered correctly.
- Journal intercompany payables and prepayment
- Ensure all payments are made within their terms of contract.
- Ensure all vendors are EFTSure verified.
- Process weekly payment runs for two companies.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Support the month end process

**You'll be great in this role if you**
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Are able to meet set deadlines
- Are known for your time management and organisational skills
- Like to show initiative
- Have well-developed communication skills
- Have used Dynamics Nav or equivalent medium to large accounting package
- Can obtain a National Police Check
