You will work alongside our Senior Project Engineer on a variety of stimulating projects, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge as you grow in your profession.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Junior Project Engineer to join our team in Harvey, WA, for a full-time position.
In this role, you will work alongside and support our Project Managers in executing current projects.
You will take a hands-on approach and be expected to manage a team to effectively deliver solutions.
Key responsibilities include :
Working alongside & supporting our Project managers on executing current projects.
You will take a hands-on approach with all our projects and will be expected to manage a team to effectively deliver solutions.
Facilitate & manage current and new projects including preparation of documents & reports.
Undertake safety assessments and complete necessary supporting reporting.
Provide input of technical design across all industries.
Assist in the tendering process of projects including site inspections, work procedures & documentation.
Provide the stakeholders with scheduled forecast & job status reports.
Assist in identifying process improvement projects within the business.
Carry out actions required for enacting improvements to the business.
Implementation of process improvement business strategy.
Accurate project costing, resourcing and forecasting.
Assist in the development of strategies to improve efficiencies and reliability.
Completion of projects in a safe manner, and within budget approvals.
Management of capital expenditure to agreed requirements.
What Makes You a Great Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need :
Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical / Civil / Electrical (Other engineering disciplines may be considered).
Previous experience / knowledge in a similar role or experience within the agriculture sector will be beneficial but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Project as a minimum).
Proficiency in AutoCAD LT / Mechanical / Electrical or similar software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
A collaborative and open-minded approach to finding innovative solutions.
