This is a casual role with rostering across 7 days a week.
The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, be motivated, and work well in a team environment to contribute to the store's performance.Responsibilities include:Ensuring health and safety of staff, customers, and contractors within the departmentServing customers by assisting with orders and providing efficient serviceOperating forklift and loading/unloading trucks as requiredPicking orders for deliveryStocking, mainly timber and related productsQualifications and skills:Strong customer focusAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize workload to meet deadlinesPhysically fit to stand all dayAttention to detail and sense of urgencyAvailability to work across 7 daysForklift Ticket and Driver's License are advantageous but not essentialAbout UsMitre 10 is a 'Mighty Helpful' independent hardware store, proudly local and community-focused.
